Who runs this

Jungle Macro Analyzer is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc.

Riot Games data (League of Legends API)

When you enter a Riot ID and region, the app asks our server to call the official Riot API (account lookup, match lists, match JSON, and optional timeline) so we can show your jungle stats and reviews. We may refresh your display name via Account-V1 by PUUID when you load the dashboard. Your API key is never sent to the browser; it stays on the host (e.g. AWS Amplify) in RIOT_API_KEY for server routes only.

Data is used only to power your own reviews in this tool — not sold as a bulk feed, not used for tournaments, and not combined into public leaderboards of other players.

Riot’s own terms and developer policies govern use of that API and game data — developer.riotgames.com.

What we store in your browser

  • Linked account: game name, tag, region, and identifiers returned by Riot (e.g. PUUID) in localStorage so you don’t have to re-enter them every visit. You can clear site data in your browser to remove them.
  • Beta access: if the host enables the beta gate, an httpOnly session cookie stores your access code so pages and APIs can authorize you.
  • Other UI state (e.g. dismissed banners, checklist progress) may also use localStorage or sessionStorage.

This app does not run a user login database on the server; match payloads are fetched on demand and not written to a server-side account store by this codebase.

Server access logs (hosted)

On the cloud deployment, the app writes short access log lines (IP address from proxy headers, HTTP method, page or API path, deploy environment, and optional Riot ID from the URL or a short jungle-linked-player browser cookie (mirrors your linked account for logging only — not used for login). If beta codes are enabled, logs may include a partial access-code prefix(not the full code) to spot heavy use per tester. Logs go to the host's standard logging (e.g. AWS CloudWatch) for abuse monitoring and capacity — not sold, retention follows the host's AWS log settings.

Optional Discord webhooks

If the host configures Discord URLs on the server, feedback you submit in-app and optional beta access requests can be posted to a private Discord channel. That content is whatever you type (plus technical context the form adds). It is not sold; retention is up to the host’s Discord settings.

Champion art (Data Dragon / Community Dragon)

Icons and splashes are loaded from public CDNs (Riot Data Dragon and, where used, Community Dragon) for display only. Follow Riot’s current fan and asset rules; do not use official Riot or League logos in ways they prohibit.

Contact

Before you have beta access, use Request access or your organizer's email or Discord. After sign-in, the in-app feedback link in the footer is available too.
